What we collect
- From customers: name, email, phone, the answers you give when booking, and booking history with that business.
- From businesses: your email, business details you enter, and your Stripe account id.
- Technical: server logs with IP address and request path, kept for 30 days to keep the service secure.
What we do not collect
Card numbers never touch Fancy It. They go directly to Stripe. We store only a reference Stripe gives us.
Why
- To make and manage bookings, and to send confirmations, reminders, and changes by email.
- To let the business see who has booked and contact you about your appointment.
- To run and protect the service.
Who sees it
- The business you booked with sees your booking details.
- Stripe processes payments. Resend delivers email. Our hosting provider stores the database in the EU.
- We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
The public booking pages set no cookies. The business dashboard sets one sign-in cookie, which is strictly necessary. There is no tracking.
How long
Booking records are kept while the business uses Fancy It, and for up to six years after for accounting. You can ask for your data to be corrected or deleted where the law allows.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold, ask for corrections or deletion, and complain to the ICO. Contact us through the details on the business page or the dashboard.
